Jacksonville Florida USA based American Veterans of Igbo Descent ( AVID ) has congratulated Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu on her appointment as Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu stating that her impressive background in law, diplomacy and beauty pageants prepared her well for this prestigious role.
AVID in a letter to Ambassador Ojukwu which was dated 14, November 2024 and marked ” Letter of Congratulations”, told her that having known the landscape of Nigerian leadership, it is optimistic that the challenges of her new position would be scalable and that her performance would rank to unprecedented level.
The letter signed by AVID President and Secretary Chief Sylvester Onyia, Dr. Godson Obiagwu respectively stated ” as a determined Igbo daughter and the wife of the people’s General, the late Ikemba Nnewi, General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, we have confidence in the content of your character, and believe you would make excellent decisions.
” As you transition into your new position, we believe that as a transactional and transformational leader, you will influence some of the key issues bedeviling the nation”.
AVID added that as a tenacious and
resilient lady, it buys into her positive outlook on current events and stands ready for counsel anytime she needs advice or review of any subject matter.
” We also salute your courage and leadership acumen that rightly places you into this deserving position and wish you the best, we pray God to always protect you and endue you with wisdom to navigate through your daily assignments”.
