Abia state governor’s wife Priscilla Otti has told Abia children that they are loved and valued, and that being future leaders of the state, their dreams are valid while their potential is limitless.

She spoke during a state party she organized for the children in Umuahia, the state capital prior to Christmas.

She said ” we have gathered to promote inclusivity, spread love, kindness, and joy to the little angels of our state, doing so reminds of the true meaning of Christmas, which is love, hope, and giving.

” These young hearts bring so much joy, hope, and promise for our future. As we shower them with gifts, treats, and fun this season, let’s remember the values that shape their lives namely ; love, kindness, and compassion.

Mrs Otti who said that the Abia State, government remains committed to creating opportunities for its children to thrive, including investing heavily in education, healthcare, and programs that promote their well-being and development.

She cited the just concluded Abia Leadership Academy stating that it achieved something that remarkably equipped 1,000 young individuals with the skills and values necessary for effective leadership, and instilling in them a strong sense of purpose and responsibility.

But we know it’s not just about infrastructure; it’s about building character, instilling values, and creating a supportive environment where they can grow and flourish.

She charged the children to never let anyone dull their sparkle or dim their light but to ” keep shining and dreaming, and always remember that you are capable of achieving greatness”.

To the mothers, who she described as caregivers, and role models that have the power to shape the next generation, the governor’s wife urged them ( mothers) to nurture their ( children ) curiosity, inspire their dreams, and teach them the importance of kindness, empathy, and service to others.
