The Abia State House of Assembly has been described as a veritable Institution that makes Laws that reflect the yearnings of the people and in tandem with the policies of Governor Alex Otti in relation to fast tracking the State for higher development in line with global standard practices.
The Leader, Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Okoro Uchenna Kalu made the above remarks when the Senate, Abia State Law Students’ Association in the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike, Ebonyi State paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
Hon Okoro Kalu further stated he has consistently championed the participation of young people with emphasis on political engagements, which he said is pivotal to deepening of democracy and development of Statecraft.
In his remarks earliy, Senate President, Abia State Law Students’ Association, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike, Ebonyi State, Daberechi Caleb Elekwa said the Association had closely followed the Legislative activities and contributions of the 8th Abia Assembly Leader, identifying him as a role model for young persons who aspire to venture into politics in the future, pledging their support to ensuring the success of his political endeavors.
Mbanasor Gideon Chimdi, Ugochukwu Dawn and Eluwa Crystal accompanied their Senate President while Labour Party stalwarts including Emmanuel Awah, Zonal Woman Leader, Mrs Obiageli, Nze Abel Okwara were present during the visit.
